Board Certified in Nuclear Medicine, Professor at the University of Illinois Medical Center, Chicago. Has 30 years experience in Academic Nuclear Medicine and for the past 13 years has focused on Brain SPECT. In 1996, spent a sabbatical year at the National Institute of Health, Laboratory of Neurosciences, in Bethesda MD, to further his expertise in brain image processing and clinical Neurosciences. Since 1998 his interest has been focused on the applications of Brain SPECT to the evaluation of patients with complex conditions involving behavioral, emotional, personality, developmental and degenerative disorders. He started working closely with Psychiatrists and Neuropsychiatrists, toward the goal of better tailoring the treatment of child, adolescent and adult patients with coexisting Neuropsychiatric disorders. He has published in the field and has also presented contributions on Brain SPECT and lectured at numerous local, national and international meetings. Member of numerous professional Societies.
